Methodology

How these figures are measured.

Recomputed once a day from the listings themselves.

  • Every remote listing posted on Remoteli between 18 October 2025 and 18 October 2026, including ones that have since expired or closed, and including listings imported from employers’ own job boards.
  • Only listings that state an annual salary in US dollars: 993 in this window. Salaries in other currencies are left out rather than converted.
  • Each listing counts once, at the midpoint of its advertised range, or at its single figure when it gives one. The median is the middle of those midpoints; the range beside it runs from the 25th to the 75th percentile.
  • Figures below $10,000 or above $1,000,000 a year are treated as misreads, such as a monthly or hourly rate, and left out.
  • A row only appears once at least 15 listings sit behind it.
  • These are the salaries employers advertised, not what anyone was paid. Remoteli never sees applications or offers.
