About the role
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and manage a team of Salesforce Administrators, including regular one-on-one meetings, goal setting, performance feedback, career development, and support for day-to-day execution.

Set team priorities, assign work, balance capacity, remove blockers, and ensure commitments are delivered with appropriate quality and timeliness.

Provide technical and functional guidance to the team, review proposed solutions and configurations, and promote consistent standards, documentation, and Salesforce best practices.

Serve as the first point of escalation for team members and operational issues, coordinating resolution and communicating risks, dependencies, and status to SaaS Applications leadership and business stakeholders.

Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, including user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings.

Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder).

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into actionable work for the team, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions.

Support CPQ and Billing configurations, ensuring accurate quote-to-cash processes.

Lead or support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft).

Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement optimizations for usability and security.

Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support business decision-making and team visibility.

Ensure system configurations, operating processes, decisions, and best practices are documented and maintained by the team.

Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for end users, internal teams, and Salesforce Administrators.

Stay current with Salesforce releases, assess their impact, and recommend platform enhancements.

Qualification
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

8+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including senior-level responsibility for Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing.

Demonstrated experience leading, managing, or formally mentoring Salesforce Administrators; experience supervising a small team is preferred.

Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, delegation, performance feedback, conflict resolution, and team development.
