ABOUT THE TEAM
The B2C/Creators Product team at HighLevel is focused on building and scaling a world-class learning experience for our customers and their audiences. The platform currently serves over 1.1 million monthly active users, making it one of HighLevel's most widely adopted products. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at scale while solving B2C-style learner experience problems within a B2B2C product ecosystem.
Events is one of the newest products in HighLevel's Memberships suite, currently in beta and being built from the ground up. It gives our customers a native way to create, publish and sell events — in-person, online and hybrid — with ticketing, RSVPs, paid and free registration, and attendee management, sitting directly alongside the contacts, communities, courses, credentials and automations they already run their business on. Organizers build and run their events from the Memberships admin; attendees live the whole thing inside Client Portal, next to the courses, communities and credentials they already sign in for.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Own and Shape the B2C & Events Roadmap Partner with product leadership to help shape and execute the roadmap for HighLevel's B2C platform, serving 1.1M+ monthly active learners, with a focus on engagement, completion, and retention in a B2B2C environment.
-
Close the Table-Stakes Gap, Then Go Past It – Know the category cold. Get the expected capabilities right — ticket tiers, promo codes, capacity and waitlists, recurring and series events, refunds, embeddable widgets, calendar sync, wallet passes — and then decide deliberately where we go further than the incumbents rather than matching them feature for feature.
-
Take Events from Beta to GA – Own the beta exit criteria: the quality bar, the reliability bar, the feature completeness, and the adoption and revenue signals that tell us this product is ready to be sold broadly. Drive the program that closes those gaps.
-
Build Ticketing, Checkout and Payments – Lead paid, free and RSVP event types, multi-tier and multi-currency ticketing, checkout conversion, discounts, taxes, refunds and payouts — with the precision and trust a revenue-bearing flow demands, and with fee and payout terms that are a reason to choose us rather than a reason to resent us.
-
Give Organizers Ownership of Their Audience – Build the capability that most defines us against the category: every registration flows into the organizer's own CRM, segmentable, automatable and theirs to keep. Turn attendee data ownership from a talking point into the product's most obvious advantage.
-
Own Event-Day Operations – Events are judged on the day they happen. Own check-in and QR scanning, offline resilience at the door, guest lists and comp tickets, on-site sales, capacity enforcement and the operational tooling organizers depend on when things go wrong in real time.
-
Own the Attendee Experience in Client Portal – Client Portal is where the attendee side of Events lives, and you own it: how members find what is on, register and check out, hold their tickets, receive reminders and joining links, attend in person or online, and look back at what they have been to. Deliver that journey across both web and mobile, make events feel native to the portal rather than bolted onto it, and hold a phone-first bar throughout.
-
Drive Distribution and Discovery – Shape how events get found and filled: SEO-ready event pages, social and calendar syndication, embeddable listings, the Gokollab Marketplace, and the promotion tooling that turns an organizer's existing audience into attendance.
-
Open the Platform – Treat APIs, webhooks and integrations as a first-class surface rather than a premium upsell, so agencies and developers can build events into the workflows and client solutions they already sell.
-
Champion UI/UX Excellence – Partner closely with design and engineering to deliver interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, mobile-friendly and fast — for both the organizer building an event and the attendee registering for one.
-
Talk to Organizers Constantly – Run discovery with beta organizers, sit in on their setup, watch where they stall, and turn qualitative signal into a prioritized backlog. At this stage, direct customer contact is a primary input, not a supplement.
-
Experiment and Optimize – Design and analyze experiments across the funnel — event page conversion, registration completion, checkout drop-off, organizer onboarding — and iterate rapidly on evidence rather than opinion.
-
Support Scale, Reliability and Trust – Drive the platform work a live-event product demands: registration integrity, capacity and waitlist correctness, payment reliability, fraud and listing trust, and graceful behavior under the traffic spikes that come with a popular event going on sale.
-
Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work across engineering, design, data, support, marketing and customer-facing teams to launch features, drive adoption, and close the loop on organizer feedback.
-
Define and Own the Metrics – Establish the success metrics for a product that does not yet have them — organizer activation, time to first published event, repeat-event rate, registration and checkout conversion, attendance rate, gross ticket volume and revenue per organizer — set the OKRs against them, and use them to steer the roadmap.
-
Deliver Outcomes, Not Just Features – Be accountable for measurable growth in events published, organizers activated, registrations processed and ticket revenue running through the platform.
WHO YOU ARE
-
B2C Experience – You have built and shipped impactful features for B2C platforms or content products, creating engaging end user experiences that drive activation, completion, and retention at meaningful scale.
-
An End-to-End Owner – You are comfortable owning the entire life of an event across two connected surfaces: the creator experience in the Memberships admin, where an organizer builds, prices, publishes, promotes and runs their event, and the attendee experience in Client Portal, where a member discovers it, registers, attends and looks back on it. You think in terms of the whole journey and the handoffs between those surfaces, not in terms of screens.
-
UX-Attentive for Learning – You bring a strong UI/UX sensibility focused on learner journeys, content discovery, progress tracking, and habit formation, with a track record of delivering intuitive and high-quality learning experiences.
-
Experimentation-Minded – You are comfortable running A/B tests and structured experiments to improve learner engagement and completion rates through rapid, evidence-based iteration.
-
Learner-Centric – You consistently balance business objectives with learner success, keeping learner needs, motivation, and outcomes at the center of product decisions.
-
Customer-Obsessed – You seek out organizers directly, run your own discovery, and can translate what you hear into product decisions without waiting for a research team to formalize it.
-
Strategic and Execution-Focused – You can contribute meaningfully to product vision while staying deeply involved in day-to-day execution to ensure ideas translate into real, measurable impact.
-
Data-Informed – You rely on behavioral data, funnel metrics, and cohort analysis to prioritize initiatives, validate assumptions, and guide product decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
-
7+ years of Product Management experience, with meaningful exposure to events, ticketing, marketplace, commerce or B2B2C SaaS products.
-
Proven track record of taking a product from early stage to scaled adoption, with clear ownership of the decisions that made it work.
-
Hands-on experience with monetization mechanics — checkout, pricing and packaging, payments, refunds, payouts and fee structure — and the operational realities that come with them.
-
Working knowledge of the events and ticketing category, including how platforms such as Eventbrite, Luma, Meetup and Cvent are positioned, priced and differentiated.
-
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to partner closely with design to deliver intuitive, accessible and high-quality journeys for two distinct user types: organizers and attendees.
-
Familiarity with SaaS and B2C platform growth levers, including user activation, engagement loops, retention, lifecycle optimization, and audience monetization.
-
Comfort operating with ambiguity, incomplete data and shifting priorities in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
-
Bonus: You have worked on an events, ticketing or community platform and can clearly articulate your personal impact on organizer growth, conversion and revenue.
