About the Team
DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about — helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses. To further this mission, we’re looking for an experienced consumer growth marketer to join our growing consumer marketing team at a pivotal and exciting time for DoorDash.
The consumer growth marketing team is focused on building and nurturing our consumer base by building a relationship with our consumer and providing them with an engaging and relevant cross-channel experience. The consumer growth marketing team at DoorDash is growing rapidly and it is expected this person will be a leader on the team, help develop our marketing approach, and grow their career as the team expands.
About the Role
As Consumer Paid Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy and performance for our growing affiliates program. You’ll be responsible to developing our affiliate creator initiative into a best-in-industry program, deepening our relationships with publishers, maintaining an innovative testing roadmap, and driving growth across DoorDash’s offerings. You’ll manage a team of 3-4 Associates / Senior Associates, craft a detailed affiliate strategy, and work cross-functionally to improve creator, publisher, and user experiences while scaling the program.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
Own and scale a developing channel at DoorDash
- Define and execute the strategy for New Customer Acquisition, Churned Customer Resurrection, New Vertical (non-Restaurant) growth, and bring the affiliates channel into new areas for the business (e.g. Reservations).
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 3-4 direct reports responsible for campaign execution, creator recruitment and onboarding, commissioning strategy, measurement and tracking, and reporting
- Stay at the forefront of affiliates innovation by experimenting with new publishers, tech partners, platform features, and in-house product capabilities
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 6-8 years of experience in affiliate marketing
- Large-Scale Creator Expertise: Have managed creator affiliate programs directly, working with influencers at scale to drive business outcomes
- High Scale Budget Management: Proven track record of allocating, pacing, and optimizing annual budgets of $10M+.
- Advanced Measurement & Analytics: Strong analytical background with the ability to "get into the nitty-gritty of the data." Experience moving beyond standard ROAS by optimizing for LTV/CAC, incrementality, lift testing, and MMM.
- People Leadership: Proven experience directly managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team (managing 2-3+ direct reports).
- Strategic & Tactical Execution: Ability to operate both strategically (communicating high-level strategy for New Customer Acquisition and Resurrection) and tactically (overseeing campaign ops, auction dynamics, and bid optimization).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with Analytics, Finance, Product, Strategy & Operations, and Integrated Marketing teams.
Preferred Skills
- AI Tool Familiarity: Comfort and familiarity with AI-assisted coding and productivity tools (such as Claude Code and Cursor) to accelerate data analysis, query writing, and workflow automation.
- Marketplace Experience: Previous experience working in a complex, multi-sided marketplace (e.g., food delivery, rideshare, gig economy) and understanding the dynamics between consumer supply and demand.
- Broader Performance Marketing Context: Experience managing or collaborating closely with other performance channels (Paid Social, Programmatic, SEO, Affiliate) to understand full-funnel and cross-channel attribution.
