[Job- 32405] Senior Back End Developer (Python/Golang & SAP), Brazil

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to design, build, and integrate business-critical enterprise applications within a Microsoft Azure environment. This role combines strong software engineering skills, AI-assisted development, cloud-native architecture, and hands-on experience integrating applications with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA.

The ideal candidate must be able to develop enterprise applications that securely exchange data with SAP, leveraging SAP integration interfaces, APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures. Experience with SAP integration is a core requirement, as the role involves connecting modern cloud applications and AI-powered solutions with SAP and other enterprise systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade software applications.
• Strong development experience with Go (Golang) and Python.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience integrating enterprise applications with SAP ERP and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Practical knowledge of SAP integration methods and interfaces, such as APIs, OData, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, middleware, messaging, or equivalent SAP integration patterns.
• Ability to understand SAP data structures and business processes sufficiently to design reliable integrations between SAP and external applications.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools, such as:
  • OpenAI Codex
  • Claude Code
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Similar AI coding and software engineering tools.
• Experience developing applications or technical solutions for consumer goods, manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, database schemas, and application-to-database integration.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational database technologies.
• Understanding of application-specific databases, shared databases, data ownership, and database integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of caching architecture, including:
  • Distributed caching
  • Cache invalidation strategies
  • Cache-aside patterns
  • Application performance optimization
  • Technologies such as Redis or equivalent platforms.
• Fluent or professional working proficiency in English is required for written documentation, technical discussions, collaboration, and stakeholder communication.

Azure & Integration Experience

Experience developing applications within an Azure architecture incorporating technologies such as:

• Azure API Management (APIM)
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Event Hubs
• Azure Database for PostgreSQL
• Application-specific and centralized database architectures
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure networking and secure application connectivity
• Monitoring, logging, and application observability
• CI/CD and automated cloud deployment

Experience integrating Azure-hosted applications with SAP is essential, including the ability to design secure, reliable, and maintainable data flows between SAP and cloud-based applications. Experience with SAP connectivity, API management, middleware, and asynchronous messaging is highly relevant.

AI Development & Integration

• Experience incorporating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Experience integrating applications with LLMs or AI services.
• Understanding of AI agents, tool/function calling, RAG, and enterprise data retrieval.
• Ability to securely integrate AI applications with enterprise APIs, databases, SAP, and other internal systems.
• Understanding of data privacy, security, access controls, and governance for enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience using AI tools as part of the software development lifecycle, including code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and code review.
• Ability to design AI-powered solutions that interact securely with SAP data and business processes through appropriate APIs and integration layers.

Architecture & Engineering Knowledge

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with microservices and distributed application architectures.
• Understanding of asynchronous messaging and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Understanding of application resiliency, retry handling, fault tolerance, scalability, and high availability.
• Ability to design maintainable application and database architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting application, integration, database, and cloud-platform issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues involving SAP, APIs, middleware, databases, and cloud applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience developing software for a consumer goods manufacturer.
• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, SAP MDG, SAP Variant Configuration, or other SAP functional/technical domains.
• Experience integrating SAP with manufacturing, order-management, MES, WMS, or shop-floor systems.
• Experience with Redis or other distributed caching technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Experience taking AI-enabled applications from prototype through production deployment.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations using SAP-specific tools and platforms, such as SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
