About the role

See yourself at Twilio

Join the team as Twilio’s next Developer Success Engineer for Stytch.

About the job

In this hybrid engineering and customer success role, you’ll work directly with developers that want to learn how Stytch works, help them design an implementation, and answer any questions they have along the way. Throughout that path you’ll also be serving as the voice of the customer within Stytch and closing the feedback loop by ensuring their insights make it back to our Product, Design, and Engineering teams - or implementing improvements yourself. As the team grows, you’ll have more opportunities to contribute new features to Stytch and Twilio products through code.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build new features and fix bugs in Stytch and Twilio products.
  • Serve as a technical resource for customers when they have questions about our product.
  • Improve documentation and processes for internal and external stakeholders.

Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Required:

  • A genuine drive to understand customer needs and concerns.
  • Troubleshooting — Deep curiosity, grit, and tenacity to dig into tough technical issues and track down root causes.
  • Hands-on programming experience in a major language, with 2+ years writing code to build, debug, or automate, in a support, solutions, or software engineering role.
  • Ability to debug others' code (customer integrations, SDKs, open-source libraries) and ship small, well-tested fixes in an existing codebase.
  • Familiarity with modern web services and APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels.

Desired:

  • Experience with authentication protocols (SAML/OAuth), MFA, IdP.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as technical support, solutions engineering, field engineering, etc.
  • Direct experience working on a dedicated software development or product team.
