Writing a job post that gets clicks

A clear title, an honest salary range and specific location requirements do most of the work. Here is how each field on the posting form is used.

01Title and summary

Use the title people search for — “Senior Backend Engineer” rather than “Backend Ninja”. The summary is the one line shown under the title on the board; say what the role is and who it suits.

02Salary

Salary is optional, but a range makes your listing easy to compare and lets it show up when job seekers filter by minimum salary. Enter it in US dollars as a yearly or hourly figure.

03Location and timezone

Choose the hiring region candidates must be based in, and how many hours of overlap you need with your timezone. Being specific saves everyone time — it is also a filter on the board.

04Your apply URL

Link to your careers page, ATS or an email address. Every Apply click lands there. Remoteli never sits in between, so nothing changes about how you hire.
