About the role

***Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced level is required for this role.

A day in the life:

As the IT Project Manager, you are the CTO's operating partner. Reporting directly to the CTO, you own the rhythm of the Technology organization: you track every initiative, commitment and decision across IT, Security and Product, run the operating cadence, and take operational work off the CTO's plate so leadership time goes to strategy. You know the status of everything, you chase what's slipping before it becomes a problem, and you make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You work across multiple time zones with a distributed team.

Responsibilities:

- Own the Technology portfolio: maintain a single source of truth for all IT, Security and Product initiatives with owners, dates, status, risks and decisions
- Run the operating cadence: leadership meeting agendas and notes, action-item tracking, vendor and contract renewal calendar, salary-cap and budget tracking, and prep for executive reporting
- Take operational work off the CTO's plate: vendor coordination, procurement follow-ups, hiring logistics with Talent, cross-department requests and documentation
- Drive follow-through: chase commitments across teams, surface blockers early, escalate with a recommendation, and close the loop with stakeholders
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
- Other applicable or related duties as assigned
- Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years in project/program management, chief of staff, or technology operations roles supporting a senior technology leader
  • Track record running multi-workstream programs in a work-management tool. Nice to have: Fluency running business operations leveraging modern agentic tools (e.g. Grok Bot, Claude Cowork, etc.)
  • Strong written English: able to turn messy updates into an executive-ready status report or decision memo
  • Working comfort with budgets, vendor contracts, renewals and procurement workflows
  • Enough technical literacy to track IT, security and software work credibly and ask the right questions
  • Relentless, respectful follow-up; comfortable holding senior stakeholders to commitments
  • Advanced spoken and written English (C1+ or higher) and availability during US business hours, and after-hours availability on short notice

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Portfolio Visibility – 100% of active Technology initiatives tracked in the portfolio with owner, due date, status and risk, updated weekly (audited monthly by the CTO)
- CTO Operational Footprint – Reduce the CTO's recurring operational meetings and tasks by a defined target within 90 days (e.g., 8+ hours/week reclaimed), measured against a baseline set in the first 30 days
- Follow-Through – 90%+ of action items closed by their due date; 100% of overdue items escalated with a recommendation within 2 business days
- Reporting Cadence – Weekly Technology status report delivered every Friday and monthly executive summary delivered by the 3rd business day; zero missed cycles per quarter
- Vendor & Renewal Management – 100% of contract renewals surfaced to the CTO at least 60 days before term; zero unintended auto-renewals.

Most Important Things (MITs)

- Nothing falls through the cracks: every commitment has an owner, a date and a status
- The CTO's time goes to strategy and leadership, not operational follow-up
- One source of truth for what Technology is working on, why, and where it stands
- Proactive communication: stakeholders hear from you before they have to ask
- Judgment on what to handle directly, what to escalate, and when
