Website Marketing Manager

Why We’re Hiring:

We are looking for a Website Marketing Manager to drive growth and continuous improvement to the Harvest website, our most valuable marketing asset.

In this role, you will collaborate with key business stakeholders (demand gen, product marketing, engineering, design, content, etc.) and external agency partners to develop, maintain, and support all Marketing initiatives related to the Harvest website. These initiatives include, but are not limited to: web development, owning platforms such as GA4/GSC/GTM; website performance monitoring; technical maintenance; implementation of web best practices, technical SEO changes, CRO, and more.

To be successful in this role, your main focus will be to constantly look for ways to optimize the Harvest website, from its overall performance to its individual pages and elements. You will monitor key website metrics and conversion paths to identify any flaws or opportunities, and then take action to correct them and make improvements. Additionally, you will leverage website metrics and tools like A/B testing, heat mapping, and visitor feedback to pinpoint areas where our online presence and experience may be improved.

As an individual-contributor, you should be driven, proactive, analytical, and creative, applying your web marketing expertise to help maximize our website's overall performance.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

You will serve as the gatekeeper of Harvest’s website, which includes:

  • Website Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish, maintain and update health metrics for the Harvest website
    • Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for website health metrics
    • Configure, manage, monitor, and update Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, etc., in cross-collaboration with key business stakeholders and external agency partners
    • Develop performance reports and dashboards to reflect website performance
    • Identify and develop strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics
  • Web Development & Technical Maintenance:
    • Manage website content, conducting audits to eliminate redundant, outdated, or duplicate content
    • Create and update landing pages in collaboration with the Demand Generation lead
    • Implement design updates in collaboration with the Creative Design Manager, ensuring the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s design standards
    • Own our HubSpot CMS codebase, creating, maintaining, and updating templates and modules
    • [CRO] Implement CRO tests in collaboration with Demand Gen lead and periodically with our external CRO agency partner
    • [SEO] Working closely with Demand Gen lead and external SEO agency to implement SEO recommendations
    • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues (i.e. outages)
    • Recommend and implement regular improvements to the user experience
    • Ensure full compliance of the website with all laws and regulations (i.e. GDPR)
    • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites
What You’ve Done:
  • Proven work experience as a Website Marketing Manager, Marketing Web Developer or similar role (5+ years of experience preferred)
  • BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Extensive knowledge of website performance/optimization principles and strategies
  • In-depth experience with HubSpot’s CRM/CMS software (i.e., Built and maintained HubSpot CMS themes, templates, and modules).
  • Highly proficient with HTML,CSS, and Javascript
  • Knowledge of HubL
  • Experience managing code with GitHub
  • Managed, maintained and optimized platforms such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google AdWords, Optimizely, and more.
  • Experience managing and executing technical projects from beginning to end while keeping key stakeholders apprise
  • Ability to implement technical changes to improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot website issues in a timely, urgent manner
  • Established key web metrics, identified areas for improvement, and implemented those changes
  • Appetite and effort to stay up to date on the latest trends
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind to problem-solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and driven; identify problems and present solutions
  • Exceptional and proactive communicator

    • A competitive base pay: The salary for this role is $126,000 - $136,000 in USD. Every Harvester with the same role expectations receives the same base pay. And we aim to pay at the top of the market (informed by third-party data) for all roles.
