Position Summary

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Americas sales team and driving revenue growth. You will lead several First line Sales Directors in meeting and exceeding sales growth and targets. You will work with the executive leadership team to develop and implement sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and continue to help our company lead the way in data analytics. This role requires both a hands on and visionary sales leader who can navigate complex sales cycles, identify new business opportunities, and inspire the sales team to achieve exceptional results.

This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be a key leader withing the Revenue team. You are expected to bring your experience and knowledge coupled with an exceptional degree of people leadership to help Seeq not only achieve its sales targets but to ensure Seeq is an exceptional place to thrive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but not limited to the following: 

  • Develop and execute the Americas sales strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth for the company to achieve its scale-up goals.
  • Lead and grow the Sales team. Designing and building the right team structure to deliver on Seeq’s ambitious growth plans. Hiring and retaining the best Americas sales talents.
  • Creating linearity - you want to make your deal funnel as predictable as possible. To achieve this you will collate, analyze, and assess the SaaS metrics, allowing for ever increasing efficiencies.
  • Support the commitment to data-driven decision-making and leading the use of key performance indicators/metrics to bring forward positive change and improve existing processes.
  • Developing, teaching, and maintaining best-in-class customer experience, revenue growth and retention practices. You will be striving to continuously nurture and develop your team.
  • Playing a key leadership role at Seeq, representing the company internally and externally. You must be a champion of culture, embodying the company values continuously. Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to drive exceptional sales performance.
  • Actively review performance metrics with Sales leaders to ensure that the Sales Team is executing strategies and plans optimally and achieving maximum sales results.
  • Relentlessly focus on growth for Seeq, yourself and your team, and how Seeq can do things better and more efficiently.
  • Create and implement sales plans, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal sales performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Enthusiastic about digital transformation, driving for high adoption of digital capabilities across customers.
  • Participate and attend appropriate networking events and national conferences/conventions held that enhances Seeq selling opportunity.

 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

 

  • 10+ years of experience successfully selling Enterprise B2B SaaS solutions to complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.
  • 7+ years leading and managing a sales team along with direct sales experience in B2B sales.
  •   Team building, coaching and team empowerment skills and experience.
  • Demonstrates leadership as an effective role model for Sales in tasks both internal and external to the company
  • Comfortable working in growth stage company.
  • A team builder, collaborator and leader who creates loyalty, trust and following.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and partner effectively with others.
  • Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring
  • A self-starter that can thrive in a fast-paced environment of constant change.
  • Hands-on, "can do" attitude and a bias for action; gets it done, on time every time without cutting corners.
  • Close collaboration with Revenue team, Product, Marketing, Partner, Executive leadership, Human Resources, Legal and Finance functions
  • Low ego and high intellectual curiosity

  • Base salary: $200,000 - $225,000
  • Additional compensation includes target commission plan and equity
