VP of Engineering

Are you an accomplished engineering leader with a track record of executing technical excellence and innovation? Are you passionate about building and developing high-performing engineering teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join PropertyRadar, a dynamic and fast-growing company, as the Director/Vice President of Engineering.

Let's be clear. The VP of Engineering represents some title inflation, and we're okay with that. We're looking for a hands-on execution specialist who may be coming from a senior manager of Engineering or Director of Engineering position. We are not seeking a product visionary, though your input and feedback are valued.

At PropertyRadar, we are on a mission to provide small businesses with better access to the opportunities found in public records. We've been doing it for real estate investors, Realtors, mortgage brokers, home service companies, and others since 2007.

As the Vice President of Engineering at PropertyRadar, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, ensuring efficient project execution, and leading the strategic direction of our engineering organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, support, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs. Things You'll Do

Despite being founded in 2007, PropertyRadar still runs like a startup, so you'll get experience with a little bit of everything. That said, here are some things you'll do:

• Co-develop the technical vision and product strategy with the product manager, founder, peers, and your team.
• Provide hands-on leadership and execution of the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Implement best practices and methodologies for software development, quality assurance, and project management to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Fulfill the product strategy through excellence in planning and execution.
• Interact with customers to understand how to deliver value the customer can really feel.
• Attract, retain, and grow great engineers.
• Reduce admin burden and eliminate blockers to keep teams on track.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluate their potential impact on our business, and advise on appropriate strategies.
• Jump in where needed, always being bold and lead by example.
