Summary: The Vice President of International Business Development is a highly collaborative, influential, and experienced business development executive responsible for initiating and growing partnership opportunities in our focus regions, EMEA and Canada, and strategically looking ahead to growth opportunities. philanthropy. The Vice President, International Business Development, reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, will be responsible for accelerating Soles4Souls' globally and identifying strategic partnership opportunities. Additionally, the Vice President will lead an international team, collaborate with Soles4Souls' leadership team including marketing, logistics/operations, finance, IT, among others. A proven servant leader who puts purpose before profit. Must be Europe or Asia based.
Primary Responsibilities:
- · Building and maintaining S4S international apparel, footwear, and community/corporate partnerships.
- Build upon opportunities to cultivate incremental business with all partners through activations in stores and events with third parties, or other cause marketing opportunities
- Use industry knowledge and personal network and relationships to establish pipeline of new partnerships with corporations, retailers, wholesalers, apparel, and footwear brands
- Oversee new business development projects to grow Soles 4 Souls presence in key footwear, apparel, and retail channels.
- Drive projects and ideation for all brand expansion including expansion of geography, SKUs, brands, categories, and brand collaborations; Oversee these initiatives to completion
- Review and negotiate commercial terms with prospective partners; Partner with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) to revise contracts and partnership agreements before obtaining final approval from CBDO
- Work with internal stakeholders, including operations, logistics, marketing, and financial partners to drive growth and focus in all the categories
- Pipeline tracking and forecasting; using internal systems management (Wrike submissions, NetSuite, etc.)
- Maintain in-depth industry expertise of longer-term trends, shifts in retail, brand and consumer behavior, and opportunities for Soles 4 Souls growth
- P&L responsibility for global regions, ownership of the global apparel, footwear and cause marketing P&L and budget to determine goals and objectives, monthly, quarterly, annually
- Develop framework for new business including bottoms up and top-down business development targets
- Develop in-depth understanding of donor base including supply and geographic footprint to better identify areas of opportunity for new business
- Guide the development of pitch materials for prospective partners
- · Collaborate with Chief Business Development Officer and Leadership Team on International Strategy
- Manage S4S opportunities in new regions
- Propose expansion opportunities, manage expansion, propose new hires, and propose expansion budget.
- Leading a Business Development Director in Europe and Canada.
- · Managing partnership in Singapore, and continuing to explore expansion opportunities
- Attend major industry trade shows (as needed) and events representing Soles 4 Souls and pitching the Soles 4 Souls value proposition and market position to prospective partners
- Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
- Minimum 10 years' experience, preferably with experience or exposure with nonprofits

Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Fluency in written, spoken and business English, and secondary language – French or Dutch
- Solid background in global business development, including leading global teams
- Familiarity/exposure to operations/logistics.
- Global travel as necessary
- Demonstrated global business development experience, specifically in apparel/footwear/retail industry
- Exemplary planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral/written communication, presentation, interpersonal and listening skills - someone who can clearly articulate an organization's message, be an effective spokesperson on behalf of the group's mission, and inspire and earn the respect of his/her internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to build/maintain strong relationships
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, and NetSuite CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database preferred
- Valid international driver's license
- Valid passport (without travel restrictions)

Salary range $112K - $139K
