Description Our client, a well known and highly regarded pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking a freelance UI / UX Designer to join their Experience Design team for long term work, through 2024.

This is remote role, 40hrs/week working east coast hours.

UX / UI Designer will join a small team, working cross functionally focused on Innovative Medicine to help create a Patient Services Experience Portal. This role leans more UX than UI.

Key Requirements:
- Experience and expertise with Figma and end-to-end digital product design inclusive of user testing, workflow mapping, prototyping and interface design
- Ideally experience and/or understanding of Salesforce, as this portal will be build within Salesforce
- Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process and a strong understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing best practices

Areas of Expertise:
- Agile, Interface Design, User Flows, Rapid Prototyping, incorporating human-centered design principles

Platforms Needed:
- Expert-level Figma, and willingness to learn other tools, knowledge/experience with Salesforce

Responsibilities:
- Client facing role, strong communication verbal and written with ability to work cross functionally
- Expertise in IT and agile best practices, co-creation and the interactive design process
- Design solutions that reflect a thorough understanding of user needs incorporating human-centered design principles
- Ability to incorporate feedback and diverse perspectives into successful design solutions is required
- Consistent creation of clear and precise experience maps, user flows, interaction models and wireframes
- Development of polished user interface designs
- Rapid prototyping methods ranging from paper to interactive digital prototypes
