About the role

As an Analyst of User Acquisition here at Fortis, you will play a key part in driving user growth across our portfolio of games. This pivotal role combines the art of user acquisition creative testing with the science of paid advertising. It will require a blend of creativity, analytical prowess, and curiosity in the gaming landscape. You will be responsible for analyzing user behavior, identifying trends, and optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI and drive sustainable growth.

What you’ll achieve

  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize user acquisition campaigns across digital channels such as SANs (e.g. Facebook, Google UAC, TikTok, Apple), DSPs (e.g. Unity, Applovin) and Preload networks
  • Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization. Utilize tools such as Excel, Looker, AppsFlyer, and other relevant platforms to extract meaningful insights
  • Structured testing: Optimize and implement strategies for user acquisition campaigns, including testing new ad channels, audience segmentation, creative testing
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage advertising budgets effectively to ensure maximum ROI and efficient allocation of resources
  • Reporting and Insights: Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and insights to stakeholders. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights
  • Creative Collaboration: Engage in close collaboration with creative leads to foster idea generation and optimize creative performance. Together, you'll craft compelling narratives and visual elements that resonate with our target audience, enhancing the impact and efficiency of our user acquisition campaigns
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities for user acquisition

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Proven Experience: A solid foundation in digital marketing and user acquisition. Your track record should demonstrate significant user growth achievements and mastery of paid advertising strategies
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with advertising platforms and analytics tools. You should be comfortable navigating complex datasets and translating data into strategic decisions and have high proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel. Understanding of mobile marketing ad tech: game measurement tools, attribution providers, programmatic advertising, fraud, etc
  • Creative and Analytical Balance: A unique blend of creativity and analytical thinking. You should be adept at crafting compelling campaigns and equally skilled at measuring their impact
  • Adaptability: The mobile gaming landscape is fast-paced and ever-changing. You should thrive in dynamic environments and be able to pivot strategies quickly in response to new trends and data insights
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You'll need to articulate complex strategies to diverse stakeholders
  • Project management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
