We are seeking for a dynamic Town Planning/Urban Planning Researcher to join our Planning & Acquisition Team. This pivotal role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at shaping the future of property development through strategic planning and insightful research.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Comprehensive Report Preparation: Craft detailed Planning & Property Development Appraisal Reports and Planning Statements to ensure projects are in strict alignment with planning policies.
- Client Engagement: Utilize outstanding communication skills to effectively present and discuss planning proposals with clients and stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and clarity.
- Research and Policy Analysis: Conduct thorough planning research, scrutinizing and interpreting regulation policies to underpin development strategies and decisions.
- Collaborative Integration: Work hand-in-glove with Design Architects, Property Conveyancers, and a broad network of consultants and stakeholders, to ensure a unified project approach.
- Architectural and Urban Planning Documentation: Accurately draft and prepare architectural and urban/town planning drawings and documents, contributing to the project’s conceptual and design phases.
- Innovative Design Conceptualization: Employ 3D modelling techniques for creative design conceptualization, adding depth and perspective to planning proposals.
- Ad Hoc Planning Support: Engage in a variety of additional duties within the Planning department, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute as needed.
Requirements
Candidate Profile:
- An unwavering attention to detail combined with a keen eagerness to learn and grow within the field.
- A solid foundation in Urban/Town Planning and Architectural design principles is highly desirable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban/Town Planning, or related field.
- Professional licensure as an Architect or Environmental Planner is a plus.
- Business and Property Development Acumen
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Town Planning and/or Design.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with UK/Australian town planning regulations (advantageous but not required).
Skillset:
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfortable with using Google Drive.
