We are looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer to join our team!
As an UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
You will be designing ideas using various methods and the latest technology. Your work will involve solving interesting and complex user flow and interface challenges, creating wireframes, prototypes and/or visual designs, and overseeing the visual interface for the web-based products or applications.
What you'll get up to:
Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to develop solutions to new problems while bringing consistency, simplicity, and ease-of-use to the experience of our products.
Design and prototype elegant solutions for web.
Identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas, and refine designs with data and user feedback.
Document detailed interaction models and UI specifications.
Iterate alongside engineers to build great user experiences.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain design consistency and coherence across all of our platforms and promote the best UI practices to other designers, engineers, and product owners.
Who you are:
2+ years of experience as a UX/interaction/product designer or similar role.
You have an online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns across desktop and mobile web/applications.
Unwavering attention to detail with an acute awareness that everything counts.
Strong knowledge of Figma as a prototyping tool with design system proficiency.
Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations.
Must be organized and analytical.
Ability to partner with others across the business.
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Curiosity, continuous learning and an open-minded attitude.
This is a remote role within Canada. As such, you must be located and legally authorized to work within Canada.
