Fictiv Exists to Enable Hardware Innovators to Build Better Products, Faster
Fictiv, coined the “AWS of manufacturing,” is a leading technology company transforming the $350 billion manufacturing industry. Our cutting-edge cloud platform uses AI and machine learning algorithms to help companies build hardware at the speed of software. Come join our growing team!
Fictiv is seeking a talented Content Editor to join our marketing team and drive the production of best-in-class technical articles, guides, e-books, and other educational resources for our mechanical engineering community. The ideal candidate is an experienced writer and communicator in the manufacturing industry, known to geek out on topics that include “GD&T,” “12-axis,” “snap fits and press fits,” and “vapor smoothing.” You’re a stickler for accuracy and likely earned a reputation for beginning sentences with “Actually…”
You are the type of person who enjoys tapping into others’ knowledge and expertise. Your superpower is the ability to understand complex topics and distill them into shareable assets that anyone will understand and appreciate. You have a knack for knowing what’s interesting, both for your target reader and search engines, and getting the best out of your collaborators. You’ve never met a publishing deadline that you’ve never… met. The occasional pun or wordplay doesn’t bother you.
Whether working with technical writers, generative AI tools, or rolling up your own copywriting sleeves, you understand the value and effort required to produce great educational content that informs, entertains, and drives brand preference.
This position reports to the Director of Content Marketing.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands to keyboard, fingers, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch.
Fictiv is continuing to expand our remote US workforce. Recent hires include professionals located in:
Arizona (AZ), California (CA), District of Columbia, (DC), Delaware (DE), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Hawaii (HI), Iowa (IA), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kansas (KS), Massachusetts (MA), Maryland (MD), Michigan (MI), Minnesota (MN), Missouri (MO), North Carolina (NC), New Hampshire (NH), New Jersey (NJ), Nevada (NV), Ohio (OH), Oregon (OR), South Carolina (SC), Texas (TX), Tennessee (TN), Utah (UT), Virginia (VA), Washington (WA), West Virginia (WV), Wisconsin (WI), Wyoming (WY)
