Technical Consultant

Contra is looking for a Technical Consultant to lead structured calls for Data Optimization Sprints. You'll work to uncover inefficiencies in our data stack, document key findings, and hand off clear, actionable insights to our internal data engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

Lead 30–45 minute discovery and kickoff calls with clients
Complete a clear and concise technical intake form
Identify inefficiencies in data warehouses, dashboards, or pipelines
Translate challenges into 1–2 focused engineering tasks
Prepare a sprint brief and highlight potential risks or blockers

You’re a Great Fit If:

You have hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, or similar tools
You’ve led onboarding, consulting, or discovery calls in past roles
You’re structured, clear, and confident working with both leadership and engineers
