Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Candidate must be located in Canada or the USA. Our office is located in Toronto, ON, Canada, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.

About the Position:
As Practice Better's Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a vital role in our growing organization by managing all aspects of our recruitment efforts. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and closing top talent.

We're counting on you to:- Lead end-to-end hiring activities, including managing the recruitment pipeline, screening resumes, conducting first-round interviews, and presenting hiring metrics.
- Utilize various channels to source potential candidates, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Ensure that all recruitment processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including equal employment opportunity (EEO) and diversity and inclusion principles.
- Stay informed about industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and emerging recruitment technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive in talent acquisition.
- Contribute to the organization's employer branding efforts, helping to make it an attractive destination for potential employees.
Who you are:- You have experience working across all aspects of the talent acquisition function at a scaling organization with a strong focus on R&D (Engineering, Product and Design) and GTM (Inbound Sales roles) and Customer Support.
- You have experience hiring across all major departments within a scaling tech organization.
- You have experience hiring in US and Canada
- You are familiar and comfortable with tools such as Linkedin Corporate, Lever, Glassdoor, etc.
- You have a growth mindset, a natural curiosity, and a strong commitment to learning and development.
- Data-driven and analytical - comfortable with tracking and meeting recruiting targets
- You are comfortable with a high level of accountability and autonomy.
- Collaboration and teamwork are at the core of everything you do.
- You are comfortable with change and adapt well to new challenges.
- You are open to stepping outside of your comfort zone.
You will:- Own: The day-to-day management of our talent acquisition activities and headcount metrics associated with our financial plan.
- Teach: Our talent acquisition strategies and techniques to our hiring managers.
- Learn: Continuously, as there are numerous opportunities for growth within the People Operations function and beyond.
- Improve: Our processes and resources related to the entire employee lifecycle.
Within:- 1 month, you will become a Practice Better expert, understanding our platform, policies, and all current practices.
- 3 months, you will achieve your first major win by leading multiple end-to-end hiring processes.
- 6 months, you will become the go-to person for all talent acquisition-related activities, serving as a valuable resource for our employees and hiring teams.
