Systems QA Engineer

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides Cyber Security services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. SealingTech is looking for an experienced and talented Systems Engineer to develop automated processes for the sustainment and development of a Cross Domain Solution (CDS).

The Security Enhanced Information Sharing (SEIS) mission area is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer III that will focus on automation to elevate our quality assurance (QA) process. SEIS provides solutions that allow our government to securely share information. As part of our agile team, you will support and develop automation for test cases, releases, and updates.  

You will be expected to:

• Design, implement and expand our test suite
• Perform manual testing and write new automation scenarios for new features
• Develop product and domain expertise to ensure our product meets the needs and expectations of our customers
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD failures related to test automation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to produce high quality, timely releases by testing and approving new builds
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders, developers, DevOps, PM and Design to prioritize test scenarios and use cases
• Support automation, continuous integration, and test case management standards across the product

Minimum Qualifications:

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• 8 combined years of education or experience
• 5+ years experience designing plans, procedures, and tools to test and evaluate software
• 3+ years experience writing manual and automated tests for enterprise systems
• Experience with functional positive and negative testing
• Experience with at least (1) test management software such as TestLink
• Comfortable operating in Linux environment
• Comfortable in an agile environment coordinating with cross-functional team members to accomplish project objectives

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications:

• A working knowledge of at least (1) programming or scripting language
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience with Cross Domain Solutions or Secure Systems
• Security+ certified
• Linux+ certified
• Ability to install and maintain automated testing tools
• Use various programming languages to develop testing scripts
• GUI testing and Usability testing experience
• Experience with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience deploying and running automated tests using CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins)
