Supervising Creative Producer

Supervising Creative Producer

Full-time, Remote, Exempt

Rewiring America is the leading electrification nonprofit working to electrify our homes, businesses, and communities. Supported by a world-class research team developing accessible, actionable data, and tools for Americans across the country, Rewiring America is crafting the blueprint for Americans to achieve energy efficiency, tackle nationwide emission goals, improve health, save consumers money, and build the next generation of the American workforce in clean energy.

Position Summary

We are growing our team and seeking an entrepreneurial Supervising Creative Producer to Rewiring America’s Creative, Communications, and Consumer Engagement (CCCE) team.

In this newly created role, you will be essential to overseeing and managing the development of creative assets and campaigns. You will be responsible for aligning and guiding the vision of a project, and navigating the complexities of creating across a wide range of channels and formats, and must enjoy producing across a range of variables, from quick low-budget ideas to higher-production value work. The key is to make electrification actionable, and we need compelling creativity, across all channels and for diverse audiences, to help spark this message.

This position reports to Maddie Gryll, Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Operations.

What You’ll Do

As a Supervising Creative Producer, you will guide a wide array of creative projects, establishing creative direction for each, managing resources, communication, and collaboration among team members and departments, and outsourcing to vendors as necessary.

  • Vision and Concept Development: Working closely with the creative, communications, and marketing teams, you’ll help shape, develop, and launch creative concepts and campaigns.
  • Creative Decision-Making: With the partnership of our Head of Comms and Creative, Senior Director of Brand Strategy, Head of Marketing, Creative Director, and other team members, you will play a critical role in shaping creative decisions, ensuring the project maintains brand integrity and drive toward our organizational objectives.
  • Project Management & Operations: With the support of our Project Management Coordinator, you’ll set and stick to detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. This means coordinating time and resources across multiple departments, and ensuring that everyone is working together effectively. You’ll work with our Sr. Director, Brand Strategy & Operations, to create a budget for each project, then directly oversee the people, services, tools, and physical goods required to bring it to life.
  • Production Coordination: You will directly manage the production process, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient communication between different departments. You will swiftly and proactively address any challenges or issues that arise during production and find effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Team Coordination and Leadership: You will be the first member of our creative production studio, which means creating things, as well as contracting freelance partners and co-creation partners to bring concepts to life. Eventually, you will manage another producer, and possibly a suite of regular freelancers, for whom you will provide strategic guidance, support, and motivation.
  • Quality Control: You are responsible for ensuring all assets and campaigns meet our standards throughout the creative process. You will review and provide feedback on creative deliverables, ensuring they meet the project's requirements and align with our vision.
  • Contributor & Stakeholder Management: You will act as a liaison between our creators and other internal departments, ensuring that the needs of each department are appropriately translated to our work.
