Strategy & Operations

We are building an AI system that can accurately represent knowledge and handle uncertainty, to enable the discovery of insights and solve problems based on explainable reasoning. We envision applications to automate analysis and speed up research in domains such as Finance, Strategy Consulting, Engineering, Material Sciences, and more.

As our team is growing and preparing for our first product release, we are looking for a strong addition to our Business Operations team. You will be part of a lean, results-oriented team of creative problem-solvers and doers, reacting to the day-to-day needs of our evolving organisation as well as building the systems and processes for our company to scale. 

PlantingSpace is an ambitious company with the potential for large-scale impact. You will have the opportunity to join the company in an early stage, and grow with it. 

• Hands-on business operations experience across Finance, People, Marketing, Customer Success
• Academic background in a quantitative domain
• Basic programming experience
• 1-2 years experience in a top-tier management consulting firm

• Filling gaps: You dive in and do what’s necessary to keep operations running smoothly, sometimes as the first (and only) person covering a function when there aren’t other resources yet
• Architecting structures: You identify needs for automation and upgrades; you design and implement new systems, processes, and partnerships with vendors that enable the operations to scale; you establish ops best practices where appropriate
• Building teams: You work with domain experts to attract talent; you work on talent retention systems that facilitate individual growth and reward performance; you make strategic recommendations on compensation, rewards, and benefits schemes across various skill sets and countries.
• Solving problems: You parachute into a challenging situation and solve critical problems; your business acumen and strong analytical foundations help you analyse problems systematically and devise data-based solutions
• You provide high-quality analysis and input into strategic decisions of the Board of Directors
