Secret Media Network is a digital media group focused on recommending perfect plans, discovering great places, sharing things to do and relevant breaking news in different cities around the world. Our family is composed of Secret Chicago, Secret LA, Secret NYC, Secret Atlanta, Secret Miami, Secret Toronto, Secret London, Lisboa Secreta, Paris Secret, Madrid Secreto, Barcelona Secreta, and more!

About the position

Ready to be part of a vibrant editorial team? Here's your chance to make your mark in a professional newsroom and boost your career with one of the most sought-after digital media teams.

Here's what you'll do:

Uncover compelling stories and generate diverse content ideas for Valencia and Barcelona business partners and original events.
Write engaging, accurate and informative articles with speed and precision.
Ensure that all site copy and headlines follow editorial guidelines and style guide.
Collaborate on an editorial calendar that balances news, reviews and city-focused content, from topical stories to planned campaigns.
Create SEO-friendly posts.
Assist in promotional efforts and SMN collaborations under the direction of the manager.
Use analytics to fine-tune your content strategy and adjust accordingly.

Note: This is a temporary position covering paternity leave, expected to last until the end of December 2024.

About you

Here's what we're looking for in you:

Native level written and spoken Spanish is a must, as well as a fluent level of English for internal communications.
Demonstrated experience in digital copywriting. At least 2-3 years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of shareable stories on social platforms.
Proficient with social and digital publishing tools.
Have a methodical approach to managing your beat efficiently.
