Sr. Staff FullStack Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our team and work on a new app/web app for small business owners. The app will include a suite of tools to streamline small business operations, such as scheduling, invoicing, review management, and more. The ideal candidate will work to design, test, and implement this product in partnership with the VP of Software Engineering. 

Utilizing their knowledge of programming languages and system design, the Sr. Staff Full Stack Engineer will assist in providing technical leadership to the engineering team members through each stage of our software development lifecycle including data structure and algorithms, architecture design, code review, troubleshooting and updates. 

• In partnership with the VP of Software Engineering, meet with product leadership to define new features
• Take technical ownership of your team's product; scalability, architectural designs, resiliency, technology choices, up time, and quality.
• Develop, design and maintain scalable web applications, mobile applications, and backend services
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, maintaining quality and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy applications
• Troubleshoot and debug applications 
• Identify bottlenecks and continually improve software efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

• 10 to 15 years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
• Expert knowledge of object oriented design principles
• Advanced knowledge in Flutter/Dart
• Intermediate knowledge of Typescript
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, and RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and serverless computing
• Previous experience working with form-based CRUD applications and single-page application development
• Knowledge of oAuth2 for user authentication
• Previous experience in mobile application development, particularly using Flutter
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
