🌍 How does Finalis work?

 

  • We are a fully-remote company with Finalists distributed between the time zones of Eastern Standard Time and Eastern European Time .

  • If you’re located outside this time zone range, depending on the needs of your team, you may be requested to be available during specific hours.

  • Although we don’t have an official physical place to work, we promote gathering with your team or other colleagues whenever possible.

As a Service Designer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic and collaborative product design team. Your role will involve working closely with talented product designers, product managers, engineers, and other experts to create holistic and exceptional user experiences. You will lead the service design efforts, contributing your expertise in user research, interaction design, and problem-solving. Your insights and design solutions will drive the development of innovative products and services that align with our company's vision and user-centered approach. Your contributions will directly impact our mission to revolutionize the fintech industry.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the end-to-end service design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user journey across all touchpoints.

  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize service design strategies and objectives.

  • Conduct thorough user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.

  • Synthesize research findings and translate them into actionable design solutions, including user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and interactive prototypes.

  • Iterate on design concepts based on feedback and user testing results to continuously improve the user experience and service quality.

  • Establish and maintain design principles, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and coherence in service design across the organization.

 

💬 Who are we looking for

  • You have exceptional written and spoken English

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience

  • You are proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or similar

  • You have demonstrated experience in creating user-centered designs with a portfolio showcasing your design skills

  • You have excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills to work in a multidisciplinary environment and with different stakeholders

  • You have the ability to understand and empathize with users' needs, behaviors, and motivations, and translate them into design decisions that enhance user experiences

  • You have the experience to identify design challenges, propose creative solutions, and iterate based on feedback and data-driven insights

  • You have the ability to work swiftly with a high sense of urgency and be comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines

  • You are a self-starter, a quick learner, and highly organized with attention to detail

  • You have the ability to follow up; know what's going on at all times and respond quickly

  • You are flexible, patient, persistent, and have a team spirit attitude

  • An open and pragmatic mindset to make decisions according to each scenario and challenge.

  • You have an ego-free attitude. Be open to feedback, discard ideas for better ones, and value constructive criticism.
