Job Title: Sr Analytics Engineer (Part-Time)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics. As a senior member, you will exhibit maturity and independence in client interactions, managing multiple communication streams, and working autonomously between check-ins. You will collaborate closely with managers and be part of a larger team that includes both client and team members.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow.
Manage and maintain data warehousing solutions.
Perform complex data analysis to derive actionable insights.
Demonstrate maturity and independence in managing client interactions.
Handle multiple streams of communication effectively.
Collaborate with both client team members and Flatiron team members.
Contribute to building self-service analytics solutions (e.g., Looker).
Navigate ambiguity.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in SQL and dbt.
Expertise in data modeling best practices.
Strong understanding of data modeling across various data sources.
Excellent analytical intuition.
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Maturity and independence in managing client interactions.
Experience in building self-service analytics solutions (e.g., Looker).
Nice-to-Have:
Bonus: Experience as a data analyst.
Bonus: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
Bonus: Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (ML).
