Software Quality Assurance Manager

*Job Description: *

We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to conduct manual and automation testing and manage our QA team. This role is fully remote, the ideal candidate will be a player coach ensuring the quality and reliability of our backend systems, databases, APIs, installation tools, SQL stored procedures, and more. As a QA Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

*Key Responsibilities: *

1. Backend Database Verification: Lead efforts to verify the functionality and performance of databases.

2. API Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for APIs.

3. Installation Tools: Ensure the reliability of installation tools used in our software.

4. SQL Stored Procedures: Verify the correctness of SQL stored procedures.

5. AWS Testing: Conduct testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments.

6. FTP Server Upgrades: Verify the success of FTP server upgrades.

7. Vendor Files: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of vendor files used in our systems.

8. Python Scripts: Test Python scripts, often used in our operations.

9. Automation Tests: Lead efforts in automation testing, utilizing a keyword-driven framework in Java.

10. Testing Linux Environments: Expertise in testing Linux environments, including server login and command execution.



*Key Tools and Technologies: *

- Database testing, including Postgres

- Python

- Postman

- Jira and Xray for test case management and execution

- High level of reliability and responsibility.

- Proactive approach to task management and completion.

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

- Strong technical aptitude, especially in data and financial aspects.

*Requirements:*

- Technical background with expertise in backend testing.

- Approximately 50% manual and 50% automation testing experience.

- No mobile or web application testing required.

- Hands on knowledge of SQL, Python is _required _

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
