Social Media Intern

As a social media intern at Arc & Codementor, you will help us create content on our social media channels. As part of the marketing team, you will help create impactful content in various form factors related to remote work, programming, AI, and technology. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated MBA or college students looking to make an impact as part of a small, energetic team that values growth and collaboration.

Type of role: Part-time internship (15-20 hours per week)

Location: Taiwan (fully remote) or within 3 hour time difference from Taiwan. 

Duration: Ongoing starting April 2024 (minimum 4 months commitment, and may be extended)

Rate: $200NTD/hr

What you will be doing:

Objective: Create content that resonates with our target audiences, aligns with our marketing strategies, and grows brand awareness across various social media platforms and email newsletters.

  1. Content Creation: Produce diverse, platform-tailored content, from informative posts to engaging videos
  2. Content Curation: Share relevant, high-quality external content that aligns with the brands Arc and Codementor and adds value to our target users
  3. Content Scheduling: Use a calendar to strategically plan a mix of content weekly, aligned with key topics and publish

Skills and Tools Required:

  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, video editing software)
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities to craft messages that engage and resonate


  • Undergraduate/graduate students with an interest in tech startups
  • Fluent English required
  • Familiarity with social media (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, organized, and strategic thinker
  • Ability to work independently and with a "manager of one" mindset
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends

Bonus Qualifications

  • An interest in programming or having learned some programming before (not required)
  • Related internship experience in marketing or with a startups
  • Experience with content writing
  • Leadership experience
