Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design:

   • Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage and analytics solutions using Snowflake.
   • Develop and maintain the overall Snowflake architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and data requirements.

2. Performance Optimization:

   • Implement best practices to optimize Snowflake performance and ensure efficient data processing.
   • Collaborate with development teams to fine-tune queries and optimize data pipelines.

3. Scalability and Capacity Planning:

   • Assess system scalability and plan for future growth, ensuring the Snowflake platform can meet evolving business needs.
   • Conduct capacity planning exercises to anticipate and address data storage and processing requirements.

4. Security and Compliance:

   • Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard data within the Snowflake environment.
   • Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory standards.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and operations, to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to share insights, progress, and recommendations related to the Snowflake architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Snowflake Architect or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Snowflake certification.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with other data warehousing solutions and technologies.
