ServiceNow HR Business Process Consultant

What We're Looking For:

Business Process Consultant (BPC). The BPC  is an intricate leader and team member who will work directly with our clients in developing an implementation strategy and the HRSD solution design. The BPC is someone who instinctively knows how to incorporate lessons learned on past projects. Understands the need to build on the extensive knowledge of what works and more importantly... what doesn't work. 

What You Will Do:

Be the One to - 

  • Has a keen understanding of the products we implement and our customer's business
  • Lead or support project initiation activities: pre-work questionnaires, workshop agendas
  • Lead discovery and design workshops and serve as the liaison between the technical team members and customer throughout the project life-cycle 
  • Discern client business processes and employee service needs; engage client to demonstrate how ServiceNow HRSD will support these processes
  • Drive HRSD process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/to-be processes. Identify solutions from a people, process, and technology perspective during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders, generating the required outputs to the level required for the subsequent stages of the engagement
  • Lead the design of processes and employee experiences that solve customer problems, are repeatable, accelerate value and employ process best practices and standard
  • Develop and maintain design workbooks, process documentation, and ServiceNow stories
  • Design, build and deploy business outcome-driven solutions focused on designing processes that solve customer problems, are repeatable, accelerate value and employ process best practices and standards
  • Drive HRSD  process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/to-be processes. Identify solutions from a people, process, and technology perspective during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders, generating the required outputs to the level required for the subsequent stages of the engagement
  • Develop and maintain design workbooks, process documentation, user stories, use cases and test scripts, process guides, and flow diagrams (as applicable and per SOW)
  • Participate in UAT activities, including defect vs. enhancement identification and triage
  • Deliver ServiceNow HRSD 101 HRSD & Train the Trainer Fulfiller Training
  • Deliver guidance and successful implementation of the processes in partnership with other members of the project team
  • Retrieve and assess completed design workbooks in preparation for story authoring
  • Influence and provide consultation (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) while also providing thought leadership to HRSD sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process problems
  • Author user stories to support technical configuration
  • Participates in Design Team initiatives to improve tools and process
  • Perform unit testing
  • Ensure process-related deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcome
  • Engage in timely and effective communications to customers
  • Manage and communicate process and business requirements to ensure the proposed solutions meet the client expectations
  • Deliver guidance and successful implementation of the processes in partnership with other members of the project team
  • Create and update required documentation such as workshop agendas, stories, test cases, process guides, and flow diagrams
  • Ensuring process-related deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes
  • Engage in timely and effective communications to customers, provide status reports, and facilitate executive steering committee meetings
  • Evaluate the risks, anticipate issues, mitigate and resolve
  • Deliver excellence

What You Need:

  • >8 years of experience with IT project-based work  in HR
  • Proven consulting experience leading the definition and deployment of processes/solutions in client environments
  • The ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) while providing thought leadership to HRSD sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems during project delivery
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, including experience in creating process documentation
  • First-class communication and presentation skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude
  • ServiceNow or comparable case management implementation experience- PLUS
