The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to help build a system that will modernize government business processes? As a ServiceNow Architect, you will solve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for a developer with the skills needed to build solutions within the ServiceNow platform that will directly impact the client’s mission by modernizing and automating various customer processes.

This role is more than just coding. We need a ServiceNow Architect who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll use the Agile life cycle to work with the development team on developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

Experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, custom apps, or development methods

Experience with Web development, including XHTML, HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, or Angular and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java, or ColdFusion

Experience with ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB) administration

Experience with implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow

Knowledge of SOAP and REST Web services

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Bachelor's degree

ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) Certification or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

Nice If You Have:

Experience with Object Oriented Programming, SQL, and NoSQL databases

Experience with application design concepts and tools, including using UML, ERD, and Flow Diagrams

Experience with introducing open-source solutions into ServiceNow via Script Includes or as JS or CSS Includes

Experience with implementing ServiceNow inside a DevOps pipeline

Experience with Agile Scrum development methods

Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP Integrations

Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements

ITILv3 or ITIL4 Foundations Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
