Senior User Experience Designer sought by SimSpace Corporation (Boston, MA).

 

JOB DUTIES

  1. Engage in cross-product design and development efforts, with responsibilities that span the entire product lifecycle, from preliminary user research and Information Architecture (IA) to Interaction Design (IxD), UX, visual design, prototyping, implementation and testing.
  2. Identify and plan UX deliverables for upcoming products and enhancements.
  3. Work closely with a passionate team of software developers and designers.
  4. Grow the design discipline in the company leading teams of designers across multiple product lines.
  5. Simplify complex user interactions within an intuitive, appealing user interface.
  6. Present designs to users, stakeholders and internal teams, collecting and incorporating design feedback for future iterations.
  7. Leverage existing knowledge of cybersecurity, computer science, UX design, information and networking architecture, and/or software project management.
  8. Ensure a clean, consistent, appropriately branded experience across all products by contributing to UX Style Guides, CSS/SASS libraries, and UI component libraries.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in human computer interaction Plus 3 months of experience in UX/UI.

Experience to include:

Demonstrated experience in Balsamiq, Sketch, and Invision

*Demonstrated experience is equivalent to 3 months professional experience or graduate coursework/co-op work accepted as demonstrated experience.
