Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a passion for designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and reliable backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance and scalable backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Implement and maintain automated tests
• Continuously improve the architecture and infrastructure of the backend systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python, Docker, AWS, MongoDB, and Snowflake
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs (FastAPI) and microservices
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, and S3
• Experience with containerization using Docker
• Experience with database design and management using MongoDB and Snowflake
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $205,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
