We are looking for a ServiceNow Solutions Architect. With our team, you will be a crucial member of our ServiceNow practice, responsible for providing expertise in all facets of the ServiceNow platform and integrated technologies. Your primary role will be to design and architect comprehensive solutions that meet our client's business requirements while aligning with industry best practices. Working collaboratively with various teams, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of ServiceNow projects.
Your responsibilities include:
Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements, understand business processes, and design robust and scalable ServiceNow solutions. Create detailed technical designs that align with the client's short- and long-term needs and leverage the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform and integration with third-party technologies effectively.
Technical Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams, providing expert guidance on ServiceNow capabilities, customization options, and best practices. Identify potential challenges and propose innovative solutions to address them.
Implementation Support: Work closely with project managers, developers, and other teams to support the implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Provide technical oversight and ensure that the design is accurately translated into a functional solution. Ensure deliveries adhere to ICF and ServiceNow established best practices and processes.
Integration and Automation: Design and oversee the integration of ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless workflows and automate business processes. Ensure data consistency and integrity across different platforms.
Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis and optimizations to enhance the overall efficiency and responsiveness of ServiceNow and integrated solutions. Identify and address bottlenecks to improve system performance.
Quality Assurance: Design quality assurance plans and ensure that the technical deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices.
Resource Management: Work closely with resourcing, practice leadership, and program management to ensure that the appropriately certified, trained, and experienced resources are working on projects. Identify and communicate with Practice leadership any talent gaps and propose solutions to address the gaps.
Project Management: Work closely with project managers to keep projects within scope and timeline. Communicate regularly with practice leadership and clients on the status of projects, and support deployment registrations to maintain ServiceNow partner status.
Security and Compliance: Design the security plan and ensure that all ServiceNow and integrated solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures and maintain a secure environment.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guidelines. Contribute to the knowledge base and share best practices within the team and the Practice. Lead the sharing of knowledge across the practice, including white papers, demonstrations, and lunch and learns.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in ServiceNow and integrated technologies, tools, and industry trends. Continuously enhance your expertise to provide cutting-edge solutions and innovative approaches.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs, and delivering high-quality solutions that exceed their expectations.
Mentorship and coaching: Foster growth of our ServiceNow talent pool by targeting career pathways for teammates that align with business objectives; identify, mentor, and coach individuals ready for greater responsibilities; and tailor growth plans for those in need.
Strategic Relationships: Foster enduring relationships between ICF, the ServiceNow product and sales teams, and our clients, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange. Facilitate collaboration and issue resolution between the two teams.
Corporate Growth: Contribute to the growth of the business. Lead the development of client roadmaps to identify and foster new opportunities for ICF services and ServiceNow license sales. Present proposed solutions to potential clients, explaining the technical details clearly and understandably. This may involve interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaborate with the proposal teams and create compelling proposals and oral presentations that outline the technical aspects of the solution, including implementation plans, timelines, and cost estimates, and ensure that the proposed solutions address all the specific requirements outlined in the solicitation documents.
Required Experiences and Certifications
5 or more years of experience implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
5 or more years of experience working and developing with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.
2 or more years of experience working with customer executives, product owners, and technical stakeholders.
3 or more years of experience leading teams, defining and documenting technical standards.
5 or more years of experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
4 or more years of Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports).
3 or more years of experience in the Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items Orchestration and Discovery experience is a plus.
Must be able to come onsite in the Maryland, DC Virginia area for meetings and conferences when needed while working mostly remotely.
US Citizenship is required (required by the federal government for this position).
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Certified in three or more additional mainline certifications, with preference for the following (or must obtain within 4 months of your start date):
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Human Resources
CIS – Customer Service Management
CIS – IT Service Management
CIS – Discovery
CIS – Service Mapping
CIS – Application Portfolio Management
CIS – Software Asset Management
CIS – Hardware Asset Management
Hands-on experience (>480 hours each) implementing or architecting 20 or more ServiceNow applications.
Vast experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and comfort with commonly integrated third-party technologies
Excellence in scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and other relevant languages
Experience in designing and leading complex solutions and integrations
Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
Strong technical leadership skills and a hunger to take on additional responsibilities.
Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly.
Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
In-depth understanding of ServiceNow best practices and industry trends
Excellent Conflict resolution skills to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Ability to get an Interim Secret Clearance.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$133,145.00 - $226,347.00
