Responsibilities
Peraton is currently seeking skilled and qualified candidates for their Senior Scrum Master position on the Postal TSS program. This position is 100% remote. This position is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing the entire Scrum process.
• Responsible for conducting all Scrum Ceremonies.
• Responsible for managing Scrum artifacts and Scrum Tool.
• Takes projects from assignment to implementation.
• Supports management team's efforts in change management.
• Recommends and takes action to improve processes.
• Report high level status of your most important projects on the weekly PCES huddle.
• Proactively escalate foreseeable problems and resolve and/or escalate impediments/roadblocks immediately.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years related experience or Master's degree with 6+ years related experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 12+ years related experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Holder and must reside in the U.S for the past five years with no more than six months travel outside the U.S. during that time frame.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Able to perform all functional duties independently on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program.
• Able to oversee the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
• Experience training/mentoring less experienced personnel.
• Broad knowledge of project management disciplines as outlined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge.
• Extensive experience with managing software application development projects of various sizes, including client interaction and meeting facilitation.
• Extensive experience defining project scope, developing work plans and project schedules, preparing project estimates, developing resource plans, and compiling project status reports.
• Extensive experience managing heterogeneous project teams composed of resources from multiple vendors/organizations.
• Extensive experience reviewing software documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, manuals, test plans/cases, test scripts and test reports;
• Scrum Certification (CSM) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience, in technology or software development preferred,
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred;
• Excellent communicati on skills
Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
