The opportunity
As a Sales Engineer, you will play an integral role in our success by winning direct customers and growing Incognia’s business in the US and other strategic global markets. You will get the opportunity to own the technical relationship and represent Incognia’s truly innovative solution with some of the biggest brands in the world. You will drive all technical sales efforts from the initial customer diligence stage through the proof of value and customer onboarding. You will also play a key technical role in helping expand Incognia’s business and GTM through strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical trusted advisor to our direct customer during the presales and onboarding process, which includes technical diligence, proof of value (POV), product support, and SDK and API integration;
Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Product and Marketing to win deals, continually improve our solution to solve customer pain points, and expand our business and market presence;
Create and deliver powerful presentations that clearly communicate POV results;
From a technical perspective, act as the customer SME internally to Product, Engineering, Data Science and Marketing by combining technical insights with a keen understanding of our customers;
Help drive technical side of Incognia strategic partnerships, critical to Incognia’s GTM strategy;
Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth customer transitions throughout the sales and account management process;
Keep up with product updates;
Stay up to date about the broader identity, authentication and security ecosystem and share relevant insights internally.
Qualifications
Previous experience in or working knowledge of authentication, biometrics, anti-fraud, digital identity, cyber security or mobile technologies;
Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or technical Customer Success;
Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software/API integration, backend/full stack development, mobile (Android and iOS) and/or SQL;
Strong client-facing and communication skills with ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner;
Excellent presentation and verbal and written communications skills;
Good organizational, time management and troubleshooting / code review skills;
Early stage company experience.
