We’re looking for a Senior Research Analyst who demonstrates the ability to create high-quality Bitcoin content. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing market trends and communicating them to clients across various formats and channels. You’ll report to River’s Senior Marketing and Content Manager, and work closely with the marketing team to craft and distribute impactful content.
What you will be doing:
- Create data-driven research on Bitcoin-related topics. See long-form examples on our blog, and short-form examples across our Twitter accounts. (ex 1, ex 2, ex 3, ex 4)
- Develop charts, graphs, and visualizations to enhance content and grow River’s brand.
- Expand River’s outward-facing channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, River blog, and research) by producing interesting, follow-worthy content.
- Think critically about how to deliver value to our target audiences through research and analysis, and be strategic about which topics to dive into.
- Drive the creation of a content hub to better surface our research.
- Use your pulse on the market to draw insights for our River Intelligence newsletter.
- Explore new formats to enhance distribution, including producing video content and partnering with other Bitcoin educators.
- Contribute to overall marketing strategy through brainstorming and ideation sessions.
What we look for in you:
- You’re a Bitcoiner! This is not a requirement for all roles at River, but a Bitcoin Research Analyst is someone who naturally is engaged in the Bitcoin community.
- The ability to explain and visualize complex topics in simple ways. You’ll be making Bitcoin accessible to more people.
- You are a self-starter who takes initiative. River has an entrepreneurial culture where people take ownership of problems and ideas, and execute them from start to finish.
- Results-focused with strong attention to detail. We strive for quality over quantity and hold our work product to the highest standards.
- Experience in growing social media accounts, without posting memes all week ;)
- Basic design skills to create graphics alongside written content. A picture is a thousand words. You will have the support of a designer, but you should be able to get graphics to 80% done while the designer provides polish.
- 2+ years of content experience as shown in a portfolio. You’ve been doing this.

- The salary range is $100k-$120k per year depending on experience
