On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking Two Senior Quality Assurance Developers.

Senior Quality Assurance Developer Job Details:

The BC Registries and Online Services (BC-ROS) team administers and supports BC Online and all incorporations and registrations of businesses, not-for-profit societies, cooperatives, personal property and manufactured homes in the Province of BC. These services are provided through a number of channels including in-person, phone and online.

BC-ROS is replacing its legacy applications, including mainframe applications, with modern tech stacks that support a DevOps continuous improvement approach to the delivery of digital services. BC-ROS currently has six Agile teams which use the scaled Agile Methodology, human centered design, open-source languages and frameworks, and a cutting-edge enterprise containerization platform.

The successful candidate(s) will be Quality Assurance Developer for the BC-ROS Modernization Project, on one of four agile teams, that are developing the new function using the agile Methodology, human-centered design, open-source languages and frameworks, and a cutting-edge enterprise containerization platform. The successful candidate will be reporting to the person designated by the Province Project Authority.

Senior Quality Assurance Developer Mandatory Skills:

The Quality Assurance Developer is required to have the following Mandatory Skills and Experience

skills and experience:

1. A minimum of 5-years’ experience developing and implementing solutions for test automation processes, tools, and techniques.

2. A minimum of 3-years' experience performing, developing, maintaining and enhancing automated test suites and manual test suites.

3. A minimum of 3 years’ experience developing automated test suites using Cypress or Selenium.

4. A minimum of 3-years’ Experience working in an agile software development environment using modern technology stacks, tools and techniques, including: RESTful APIs, open-source technologies, continuous delivery, automated testing, microservices-based architecture, and Kubernetes or similar container management platforms.

5. Experience coaching and mentoring other quality assurance practitioners to build the team’s capacity.

6. Experience with Databases (Postgres, Oracle, etc) and SQL Queries.

In addition to the skills and experience set out above, the Proponents should demonstrate that the proposed Consultant(s) have the following additional Desired skills and Experience Knowledge and/or experience with BC Registries and Online Services.

1. Experience working in a scaled agile environment.

2. Experience developing test automation solutions within an environment with continuous delivery pipelines.

3. Experience with containerization, such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and Google cloud.

4. Experience providing test automation solutions to ensure compliance with non-functional requirements and established privacy and security standards.
