Senior QA Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior QA to join our team in Warsaw or remotely.

Your first project:

As a Senior QA and part of a great team you’ll test, develop and maintain the internal portfolio management and finance reporting application for the US-based venture capital firm. Your goal will be to write automated tests for the new code, check new features, help to improve service architecture to be more maintainable as well as make the application ready for deployment to other VC companies.

In the role of Senior QA Engineer you’l:

• Create E2E tests in Python or TS,
• Test applications manually, when needed,
• Taking care of the quality of the application and the testing process - promoting good practices in the team,
• Apply good practices when crafting testing code, including S.O.L.I.D. principles,
• Use mostly PlayWright framework, and sometimes alternatives.

Requirements

What’s important for us?

• You have at least 4+ YoE in QA role,
• You have deep experience and excellence in E2E testing in Python,
• You have experience with PlayWright,
• You have a good understanding of the S.O.L.I.D. principles,
• The ability to set up the project environment on a local machine (MacOS),
• Experience in using Docker and Docker Compose,
• The ability to create scripts that automate work, including for CI,
• You have technical and end user awareness,
• You can troubleshoot problems in the team and for users and you have great attention to detail,
• You're analytical, good at time management and balancing different work streams if you need to,
• You have great problem-solving skills and you work well in a team.
• Great English & Polish (at least B2+)

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with Cypress,
• Experience with Jest, Enzyme, JS & React
