Senior QA Engineer

At Powerapi, We have built an all-in-one platform for B2B brands to quickly plug and play and deploy the relevant features into the market with the merchants and the Points of Sale they work with.

We are a small team of 18 people who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our growing team. This is a new role within the team. As a QA Engineer at PowerAPI, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development and product team and report directly to the CTO/Lead Developer and CPO to identify, document, and track software defects, and you will help to develop and execute comprehensive test plans

The role is fully remote and candidates should be within 2 hours of GMT +1

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure that REST API endpoints are thoroughly tested and meet performance standards.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinements and retrospectives.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure that root causes are identified and resolved.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
• Continuously improve testing processes, identify test coverage gaps, and recommend enhancements.

• 3+ years in QA role in Software development company.
• Demonstrate ability to identify regressions when end to end testing the platform.
• Strong proficiency with Postman and REST APIs.
• Detail Orientated.
