Senior Project Manager: Fashion & Sporting Goods
As a Senior Project Manager on our Fashion and Sporting Goods team, you will manage all aspects of transformational projects that enable client organizations to achieve their sustainability goals: from project scoping to crafting solutions to developing high-standard, timely deliverables. The Fashion & Sporting Goods team drives sustainable change across the ecosystem, supporting brands, retailers, suppliers, associations and service providers in the sector. Project management at Quantis requires a unique blend of project design, problem solving, organization, communication, negotiation, collaboration, and analysis.
The Role
This role simultaneously manages multiple projects across key sustainability topic areas for our fashion and sporting goods clients, including significant projects at the key account level. The Senior Project Manager is a core advocate between the client and Quantis project team, responsible for ensuring team members are set up for success and growth while also guaranteeing scientific integrity and high-quality project delivery. The ability to navigate moments of uncertainty with clear structure, focused guidance, and a keen understanding of what’s needed next sets our project managers apart. In addition to core project work, Senior Project Managers are coaches and mentors for team members and support on sector projects to advance our capabilities with a strong focus on metrics-based methodological development.

- You’re motivated to put your project management, sustainability knowledge, ability to innovate and develop new approaches, and consulting skills to work towards our mission of aligning businesses with Planetary Boundaries.
- You have over 8+ years experience with project management, ability to create new templates and processes for a consulting environment, as well as project leadership approaches and best practices.
- You have several years of experience in fashion and sporting goods, understand the sectors unique sustainability challenges and are motivated by making a difference across the corporate landscape. You are strongly willing to contribute to a diverse array of sectors sustainability journey.
- You have experience in sustainability, consulting or otherwise, showing a strong understanding of sustainability topics, services, and client needs relevant to Quantis.
- You have an understanding of technical sustainability approaches (LCA / product footprinting, corporate footprinting...) and/or strategic capabilities (materiality assessment, sustainability strategy development...).
- You are willing to explore new ways of designing and delivering projects that lead to having a transformative impact on a company or organization
- Comfortable with building structure around new and innovative offerings and services
- You have a degree in Environmental Science or a Business degree. A degree or certification in Sustainability would be a plus.
- You’re fluent in English.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills (presentations, proposals).
- You’re skilled in analyzing and understanding market and target client dynamics.
- You have strong skills in developing relationships with existing and new clients, internal team members, collaborators. Leadership, coaching and mentoring skills will be a plus.
- You’re resilient, perseverant and self-motivated.
- You can generate valuable insights from analysis and communicate these insights clearly and compellingly.
- You’re able to guide a project team to work quickly, independently, and on schedule, while maintaining high quality and a highly positive team energy and spirit.
- You’re team-oriented and demonstrate a collaborative spirit.
- You have proven ability to network effectively.
As a Senior Project Manager - here’s a preview of what type of work your days will include:
- Client-facing project management, based on pre-agreed proposals, your role is to lead the execution of the project until its completion, including:
- Definition and respect of project’s scope
- Project planning
- Workplanning and workload distribution
- Project meetings facilitation
- Budget & timeline monitoring
- Team support and coordination
- Communication with client
- Quality check of deliverables
- As a key contact with the client, your role is to accompany the business development effort and key account management as projects trigger new opportunities. At times you will lead the business development effort.
- Thought leadership: developing and sharing Quantis thought leadership on sustainability; participating in relevant internal project management topics

Some logistics to consider:
- Optimal start date: As soon as possible
- Location: Remote (office located in Boston). You'll have the possibility to work collaboratively in the Boston office as needed as well as to regularly meet your colleagues on team retreats.
- Travel: 10% or less to our Boston HQ and to client sites.

Salary will be determined based on potential for contribution to the organization’s success. The compensation target for this role ranges from $115,00 - $118,000.
