As a Product Designer at Promaton, youโll be exposed to the state of the art applied AI to several dentistry industry employee (laboratory technicians) and customer (dentists) facing products. We are currently expanding our employee facing Products and allowing technicians to interact with our AI models in a high productivity and user friendly interface. To better develop and evolve these new interfaces and products, we are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer who can do research (user interviews and usability testing), cares about data (qualitative and quantitative) to inform decisions, thinks and designs application workflows and experiences, and is able to translate these into useful and good looking user interfaces. We are looking for someone who wants to own the full spectrum of UX/UI design, and with that has a huge impact on what employees will get to use ๐
Make the process of correcting AI-results in the Data cut app as productive as possible by helping define the AI review, editing and approval flow with intuitive 3D tools and visualizations.
Influence the shape of the product with employee interviews/testing and data while executing design work using high-quality wireframes, mockups, workflows, and interactive prototypes. (narrative backed by facts)
Specify your design outputs in GitHub tickets to communicate with the developers
Participate in design demos and share your work regularly with the product teams and company leadership (pitch and preach)
Lead new features within the Product Roadmap to enhance our user knowledge and solution portfolio (build the right thing)
Manage the full design lifecycle, including research, empathy building, prototyping, user testing, UI, visual design, and specification (ownership)
Conduct employee research and competitive analysis to inform and optimize design decisions, ensuring functionality and employee-centricity (what we build should be useful and important to employees)
Design and develop scalable, flexible employee experience solutions, focusing on reusability and efficiency, and contribute to a modular design pattern library for consistency across platforms and screen sizes (we build together with other teams)

Can quickly understand complex workflows and infer core user problems.
Can design (interactions and visually) user stories up to epics from the array of technical constraints, user goals, and business requirements that shape AI+web product
Experience with (designing) 3D tools, applications and interactions. Also have the practical design skills for making wire-frames or clarifying how a (3D) editing tool can be made easy to use.
Follows design process (discovery, user flows, sketches, prototype, designs) in strong collaboration with product team and partner
You know Figma inside and out and enjoy exploring new ways of improving your design workflow. (Sketch or Framer also works for us)
Has a portfolio that demonstrates a track record of crafting and delivering digital B2E or B2B2E products that align employee needs with company objectives, and how they impact the products (Enticing Portfolio)
Works or is willing to work remotely in a proactive way (Culture fit - we do not micromanage, we assess results)
Is Lean, Agile and open to sharing early work, not a perfectionist
You have experience participating in customer and employee conversations, script development, and other research activities.
You are fluent in English, have great written communication skills and are able to clearly articulate your vision and decision-making process while working within a highly collaborative, cross-functional team.
We are in a time zone between UTC-1 and UTC+3 (-2 to +2 hours Amsterdam time), you are willing to work in Central European Time Zone and Central Standard Time Zone
Candidate profile is a mix of conscientiousness and being action oriented (no creatives or strong people harmonizers/pleasers)
Ability to fly in for company events 4 times a year (1 week per quarter)
Industrial Design background
B2E, B2B2E or B2B experience
Understanding of AI (and how to integrate AI corrections into a user flow)
Experience working in Medical (or even dental) domain
