Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Network Architect with CCIE ( Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) Level expertise to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will support the United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) in maintaining its information technology (IT) enterprise infrastructure. This individual will have a background in Dev Ops concepts.

Remote role. Must be local to the DC Metro area.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network architectures.
• Provide architectural guidance for the development and implementation of network solutions.
• Utilize expertise in Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Optimize network performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain network security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide network solutions.
• Provide advanced-level troubleshooting and support for network-related issues.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship and must have the ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline and 12 years' experience or Master's degree and 10 years' experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years relevant experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Enterprise Architect Specializing in Active Directory services
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud technologies such as but not limited to Azure and AWS.
• Extensive experience designing mission critical infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions that increase the availability and security of the enterprise.
• Extensive experience with on premise physical infrastructure and technologies including Hyper-V, VMWare, SAN, FCoe, NFS, SMB3 etc.
• Extensive experience with networking and security methods and tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
• Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with major cloud providers preferred.
• Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
• Proven experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts.
• CCIE Certification required. Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
