Job Description
Are you an experienced marketing leader with an outstanding track record in innovation and creative problem-solving? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Senior Marketing Manager position at Keypath's marketing team.
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will take on a key leadership role, utilising your skills in leadership, integrated marketing, data analysis, and customer insights. You will inspire strategic and creative thinking to solve problems, seize opportunities, and conduct MVP testing and learning.
We follow agile marketing principles, and you will lead agile squads run by your team members to ensure the best outcomes for our students and business. Your role will involve overseeing your team's progress throughout the planning, execution, and retrospective process during sprints, ensuring accountability and timely project delivery in these squads.
In addition to optimizing the customer journey from lead to graduation, you will work closely with various internal departments, including sales, student retention, and product development teams, as well as our university partners.
Our business is highly data-driven. Your team will use data across the student life cycle to identify and drive quality leads, optimize conversion rates, and improve the student experience through graduation.

As a part of this role, some of your core responsibilities would include:
- Test & Learn: Encouraging a test-and-learn culture within your team, so that they can implement MVPs and learn quickly.
- Leadership: Leading a team of Marketing Managers/Marketing Specialists and taking care of recruitment, coaching, and professional development.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other Marketing leaders on developing marketing strategies across the product portfolio.
- Strategy Execution: Overseeing the progress and outcomes of agile project teams (squads) to drive strategic marketing initiatives.
- Product Launches: Overseeing the timely marketing launch of new partners and programs within the portfolio and ensuring that each program has a robust go-to-market plan to maximise early-life program performance.
- Inspiring Growth Mindsets: Creating a work culture that fosters curiosity, innovation, growth, and open feedback.
- Investment Decisions: Contributing to marketing investment decisions across the partner portfolio.
- Performance: Ensuring program performance according to the objectives and investment principles across the three vintages.
- Planning: Contributing to the annual and quarterly priority planning process in collaboration with other marketing leaders.
- Integrated Marketing: Developing and planning integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with your team.
- Messaging & Content Strategy: Overseeing the marketing messaging and content strategy of partners and programs.
- Marketing Automation: Overseeing/leading the implementation of marketing automation technology (such as email, text, etc.) in collaboration with the CX team to improve student recruitment and retention.
- Stakeholder Management: Managing internal and external stakeholders such as university partners.
- Performance Reporting: Leading the communication and reporting of business performance in your Business Unit.
- Continuous Improvement & Optimisation: Leading cross-team/cross-functional projects and initiatives designed to improve culture, systems, processes or performance.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
Education
- Relevant tertiary degree in business
Experience
- Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, including post-campaign reporting
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence across teams
- Experience working in lead generation, digital media, content marketing or direct marketing with a focus on performance-based marketing, measurement and analytics Strong account service/stakeholder management skills and experience managing budgets across multiple accounts and channels
- Strong team leadership and mentoring skills
- Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies with SMART objectives
- Experience in agile project management methodologies (desired)
Technical/Further Skills
- Strong analytical skills and experience in utilising data for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and delivering insights to drive improvement and innovation
- Able to develop creative/innovative solutions based on data insights
- Experience in rapid testing, measurement and scaling of innovative initiatives
- Experience in facilitating group brainstorming sessions to unlock creativity and innovative thinking in the team
- Strong prioritisation and time management skills
- Strong project management skills (desired)
Special requirements
- Interstate travel may be required on an infrequent basis
