Responsibilities

Capable of independently applying a wide set of engineering disciplines for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures. Responsible for, or assists in, the designing of interface standards, quality assurance standards, performance standards, and cost-benefit analysis of modem state-of-the art information systems; analyzes available technologies and makes recommendations of technologies to use and how best to use them. Primary Responsibilities include technical leadership for system and software delivery of several software projects within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)-based team structure. Responsible for resource management, schedule and quality of software projects deliveries. Creates standard project management guidelines and software development processes across all project teams. Responsible for the direct supervision/management of agile team staff, to include overall management and oversight of delivering modernized services via multiple teams. Collaborates with government representatives, partner vendors, and other internal teams to fully understand and articulate requirements and develops innovated solutions that meet, or exceed, the requirements. Develops and recommends corrective actions and process improvements as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience in a systems engineering or software development role
• Five (5) years of technical lead/management experience with software engineering projects
• Three (3) or more years of technical experience on a travel & expense program or implementation project
• Prior experience as a Software Development Manager or Systems Engineering Manager
• Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, test, integration, and maintenance
• Experience supporting a system implementation program using agile methodologies
• Experience with application lifecycle tooling, including those related to agile project management, version control, continuous integration, code scanning, automated testing, and issue tracking
• Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications and solutions with hands-on experience in developing concepts
• Excellent com munication skills, both verbal and written, to prepare briefings, proposals, and similar documents

Desired Experience:

• 2+ Years of extensive hands-on experience with SAFe Methodology on a program/project
• Active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
