Senior Manager, Revenue Forecasting & Analytics

Allergan Data Labs is on a mission to transform the Allergan Aesthetics beauty business at AbbVie, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Our iconic brands include BOTOX® Cosmetic, CoolSculpting®, JUVÉDERM® and more. The medical aesthetics business is ripe for rapid growth and disruption, and we are looking to add to our high performing team to do just that. 

Our team has successfully launched a new and innovative technology platform, Allē, which serves millions of consumers, tens of thousands of aesthetics providers and thousands of colleagues throughout the US. Since its launch in November 2020, Allē has delivered curated promotions, personalized experiences and had millions of consumers use it as part of their beauty journey.

As the Sr. Manager, Revenue Forecasting & Analytics, you will report to the Associate Director, Tech Strategy but will be collaborating with many key stakeholders across the business daily.  

In this role you will

  • Build, maintain and enhance the revenue models for all digital products and establish continuous and reliable measurement against revenue targets. 

  • Collect, update, and refine key inputs and assumptions from sources that include historical trends, data science projections, product roadmaps, and relevant external data.

  • Develop insightful presentations and dashboards that explain key forecast details, business levers and product plans to senior management, to help facilitate prioritization and decision-making.

  • Master and articulate the story behind the numbers. Be responsible for the accuracy and predictability of the forecast methodology.

  • Optimize a revenue reporting framework and attribution logic.

  • Oversee and improve the monthly (MBR) and quarterly (QBR) revenue review process; report against targets and deep dive variance drivers.

  • Streamline the forecasts by advocating for and implementing new processes, systems, and tools to support scalability and efficiency.

  • Integrate A-DL’s revenue forecasting into Allergan’s Long Range Planning (LRP) process

  • Act as an enabling business partner to your teammates and A-DL’s leaders and managers to grow revenue.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, economics, business, mathematics or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical and quantitative environment (e.g. consulting, strategy & operations, or finance / analytics at a technology company)

  • Ability and desire to dig into databases and produce insights on the performance of key initiatives as well as new opportunities. 

  • Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; fluency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets and BI reporting tools (e.g. Tableau)

  • Ability to form relationships and work collaboratively across the organization to get results. Strong interpersonal skills is a must. 

  • Track record of executing with high attention to detail and commitment to quality in a fast-paced, fluid environment

  • A self-starter, who is highly motivated and able to adopt to changing priorities 

  • Quick learner who can apply lessons from different industries and products to the situation at hand. 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience working with subscription-based business models (either consumer or enterprise) is a big plus.

 

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • MBA with analytics focus

  • Experience in data led growth strategies
