The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Partner and Channel Marketing, wil be vital in accelerating Yubico’s revenue pipeline by scaling our marketing engagements and building brand awareness with our strategic channel partners, with a particular focus on driving adoption of phishing-resistant MFA within enterprises. This leader will own the North America channel marketing plan and execute it in accordance with the global channel strategy. This role will also play a key role in developing our global channel marketing strategy and engage with multiple distributors and resellers in the US and Canada to develop annual marketing plans aligned to business goals.

With that in mind, our Partner and Channel Marketing team is looking for an experienced Channel Marketer for North America who can manage and grow our partner marketing program and expand Yubico’s reach globally to and through the channel.
The Director/Senior Manager of Channel Marketing, based in the US (Pacific time zone preferred), will be responsible for creating, executing and optimizing the channel marketing strategy to contribute to sales growth through channel partners.
Strategy and Planning:
- Develop a global Channel Marketing strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director, Partner and Channel Marketing, that leverages industry best practices to drive channel growth globally.
- Develop annual channel partner specific marketing plans that include go-to-market (GTM) strategies, marketing objectives, messaging and marketing mix in collaboration with Channel Sales leads.
- Manage annual channel partner specific budget that ladders into the overall Partner and Channel team budget.
- Able to influence high priority partners and integrate Yubico motions with partner business objectives.
- Report out results to Marketing, Sales, Channel Sales, and leadership.
Channel Program and Campaign Development:
- Develop and implement impactful channel marketing plans to and through high priority strategic channel partners that contribute to the Channel Sales goals and market growth.
- Plan and execute channel partner-focused events, such as workshops, webinars, lunch and learns, and channel partner trade shows.
- Build enablement materials in collaboration with Solutions, Channel, and Sales Ops teams including pitch decks, co-sell sheets, videos, Best Practice Guides, etc.
- Curation of inbound marketing assets and messaging for syndication to channel partner websites, newsletters and social media channels.
- Drive content creation in collaboration with the Product Marketing and Design and Creative team on localized marketing and enablement materials to deliver impactful marketing assets.
- Partner with Channel Managers, Business Development Reps, and Events team on best practices to ensure that teams are aware, prepared and accountable for follow-up actions and pipeline opportunities generated from the GTM programs.
- Partner closely with our product team to create and deliver training programs to educate channel partners on product features, benefits, and joint value messages.
Reporting and Measurement:
- Ensure that all GTM programs have clear and measurable success metrics, partnering with Marketing Operations to ensure the measurement plan and infrastructure are in place, and championing a "test and learn" optimization approach.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of channel marketing campaigns by partners and programs, using data to make informed decisions.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, pipeline attribution, and partner engagement.
Skills & Experience:
- 8-10+ years of overall marketing experience in the technology industry with at least 50% in channel partner marketing roles showing progressive growth. Bonus if you’ve managed channel market programs at a security or technology company as well as at a Distributor or Reseller.
- Proven track record in formulating strategy and implementing channel partner marketing programs/campaigns to meet business goals and pipeline targets
- Proven experience in planning, content curation and development, campaign delivery, and reporting.
- Possess a high level of personal drive, energetic with a strong desire to solve problems but are also big on collaboration and communication, energetic with a strong desire to solve problems, and succeed in a growth-stage company.
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Multilingual (French, German, Swedish) is highly desired.
- Ability to work across an international organization, cultures and time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, relevant field of study required or equivalent experience.
20-30% Travel is expected.
