Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Frontend Web Developer. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

We have the following expectations for this role:

• Work closely with Design, Product, Business Development and Data Science teams
• Effectively translate designs into performant and fully responsive pages, apps, components
• Communicating design suggestions in order to better accommodate UX/UI
• Participate in and/or proactively facilitate discussions and decisions involved in improving overall DX/UX/UI of the product.
• Ensuring high performance and security standards
• Maintain existing components and features
• Work collaboratively with geographically-dispersed teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Professional proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, GQL
• Working proficiency in React, Apollo GraphQL, Jest, Playwright
• Experience designing client-side application architectures
• Experience building responsive client-side applications
• Ability to work in an agile environment
• Ability to incrementally manage tech debt/scope creep
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders
• Spoken English professional proficiency
• Bonus: experience working with D3.js
• Bonus: experience managing and deploying AWS services and web applications
• Bonus: experience working with Hasura, PostgreSQL, Python
