Pay Range: $99,945 - 162,507 annually
Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
As NFM’s Senior Division Manager of Application Development you are responsible for leading diverse teams of leaders and IT professionals in designing, building, testing, and deploying high-quality applications for the company's clients and internal users. The Senior Division Manager of Application Development will also establish and enforce the standards and best practices for the application development process and the applications themselves, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across the teams. This is a remote position; however, the candidate must reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
• Monitor Ensure that the applications are designed and developed using the standard technologies, tools, frameworks, methodologies, and architectures, following the software engineering principles and methodologies
• Manage And mentor diverse teams of leaders and IT professionals, providing technical guidance, feedback, and performance evaluation
• Plan Define and develop the application development team strategy, roadmap, makeup, synergies and processes, aligning them with the company's vision, goals, and priorities
• Assist Mentor and coach the Application Development Managers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation
• Collaborate With stakeholders, clients, and users to understand their needs and expectations, and translate them into functional and technical specifications for the applications

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or related field
• 10 + years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in leading and managing diverse software development teams
• Expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and technologies, such as Java, C#, .NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, mainframes and legacy systems
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, practices, and methodologies, such as agile, scrum, waterfall, etc.
• Experience with Azure cloud, Salesforce Commerce and Salesforce Service Cloud a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in developing applications for various domains and industries, such as e-commerce, finance, and retail
• Computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications
• Valid driver’s license and ongoing acceptable driving record
• Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
