We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to evolve and maintain the infrastructure supporting our customer solutions and internal systems. You'll be working in a cross-functional team with Senior DevOps Engineers, Data Engineers, Application Developers, SREs, and Product Managers to ensure optimal solutions.

Things you will be doing
  • Continuously optimise and adapt existing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Terraform for enhanced scalability, consistency, efficiency, & security and to meet emerging requirements
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
  • Manage kubernetes clusters (GKE)
  • Design and develop new infrastructure components to support system expansion
  • Collaborate with other developers to integrate observability tools
  • Support SREs by automating and optimising incident management processes
  • Establish and maintain structured, efficient documentation practices for infrastructure code
  • Collaborate with customer product managers and engineerings across multiple teams to identify, refine and implement platform requirements
  • Help drive the evolution of our internal systems and optimisation our our internal processes by leveraging and integrating the latest tech
  • Champion good security practices, both internally and on customer projects
  • Share expertise and provide support to developers and SREs to enhance team knowledge
Your Experience
  • Expert in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and Terraform, with track record of designing, implementing and scaling globally-deployed production systems
  • Proven capability in designing, implementing and optimising Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines for complex, globally-deployed production systems
  • Strong background in implementing observability, log management & incident management automation solutions
  • Extensive experience of effectively implementing DevSecOps practices
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Proactive approach to identifying platform enhancements, and pragmatic approach to prioritisation & implementation based on both tactical and strategic technical considerations
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
  • Good level of written and verbal English proficiency
